FocusPulse is operated by NSDBytes ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Telegram bot, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering for the Service:

Personal Information: Your Telegram account details (user ID, first and last name, username) received when you sign in with Telegram. If you choose to get your briefings by email, the email address you give us, which we use only after you confirm it from the link we send. If you sign up on our website instead, the email address you sign in with: it is your account, and we use it only after you open the sign-in link we send to it. If you subscribe, we also receive the email address and mobile number you provide to our payment processor.
Usage Data: Topics selected, query history, and interactions with our briefings.
Technical Data: Device information, IP address, and browser type when accessing our web interface.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

To deliver personalized news briefings via Telegram.
To process payments securely (via our payment partner, Razorpay).
To improve our AI recommendations and clustering algorithms.
To communicate with you regarding service updates or account issues.
To tell you about other products from NSDBytes, the company that operates FocusPulse. You can opt out at any time from any such email, or by writing to support@focuspulse.pro.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We only share information with trusted partners to operate our Service:

Payment Processor: Razorpay processed subscription payments and issued tax invoices while paid plans were offered, until 19 October 2026. It keeps the records of those payments. Nothing is sold today.
AI Providers: We use AI models to analyse news articles and write your briefings. To tailor a briefing we send the model your industry, region of interest and selected topics, together with the news articles being analysed. We do not send your name, email address, mobile number, Telegram ID, or payment details. These providers process the request on our behalf and are not permitted to use it to train their models.
Infrastructure: Cloud service providers that host our database, sign-in and website on our behalf.
Messaging: Telegram, which delivers your briefings and is also how you sign in.
Email: An email delivery provider, which sends your briefings, sign-in links and the confirmation email to an address you have chosen to confirm. Every briefing email has a one-click unsubscribe, and /email off in the bot stops them too.
Customer relationship management: A CRM provider that holds your name, email address and the FocusPulse plan you are on, so that NSDBytes can see who has signed up and keep in touch. We do not sell this information or pass it to data brokers.
Market Data: A market-data provider, which supplies the price quotes shown in market-impact features.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active and for 90 days after deletion. Briefing history is retained for 12 months. Payment records are retained for 8 years to comply with Indian tax laws.

Operational logs are retained for 90 days. Referral records and briefing feedback are retained for up to 24 months, because referral rewards may be granted for activity that took place well before a reward programme launches, and feedback is what personalises your briefings over time. Both are removed when you delete your account.

MCP server. Our public Model Context Protocol server at mcp.focuspulse.pro can be used without an account. To limit request rates we record, for each request, a salted one-way hash of the caller's IP address, the kind of request (for example, a tool call or a tool listing) and the name the connecting app gives for itself (for example, the name of an AI assistant). We do not store the IP address itself. These records are deleted after two days.

Separately, for each use of one of the server's tools we keep a count that carries no IP address and no hash of one: which tool was used, the country chosen, whether search words were given (a yes or no, never the words), the company, commodity or other instrument asked for when it is one we cover, how many results came back, and the name the connecting app gives for itself. We do not store search words or any other text sent to the tools. These counts are deleted after 90 days.

An optional free key for the MCP server is issued by email. If you register for one we keep your email address, a one-way hash of the key (never the key itself) and when the key was last used, and the request records above are linked to your key. We use the address to send the key or a link to replace it, and, as set out in section 2, NSDBytes may tell you about its other products. We delete the registration on request to support@focuspulse.pro.

5. Your Rights (DPDPA 2023)

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request erasure of your data (subject to legal obligations).
Nominate an individual to exercise these rights in the event of death or incapacity.
Access our grievance redressal mechanism.

6. Security

We implement encryption in transit and at rest, and access controls on every database table, so that an account can read only its own records. We never store a password for your account: you sign in with Telegram, which authenticates you and gives us a cryptographically signed confirmation of who you are.
